Edinburgh: Picture House
Music Like A Vitamin
(as part of the Scottish Mental Health Arts & Film Festival)
Rod Jones and I celebrate the launch of a brand new arts project – The Fruit Tree Foundation – and its first collaborative album ‘First Edition’ written and recorded earlier this year in support of the Mental Health Foundation.
Artists involved in the album are:
James Graham (Twilight Sad)
Scott Hutchison (Frightened Rabbit)
Rod Jones (Idlewild)
Jill O’Sullivan (Sparrow and the Workshop)
Emma Pollock
Karine Polwart
Jenny Reeve
Alisdair Roberts
James YorkstonThe night will consist of performances of material from the album as well as some of the artists’ own songs. Artists performing on the night is still to be completely confirmed but watch this space for more details.
Copies of the album ‘First Edition’ will be made exclusively available at both the Edinburgh and Glasgow shows.
