Burns Unit debut album due for release 2nd Aug

Since we all first met over 3 years ago, many of us involved with the Burnsong Songhouse project that took place over a week in a house in Southwest Scotland in Dec 2006, have been getting together (if a little sporadically) to play songs, write more songs, and record those songs as The Burns Unit. The resultant recordings have at last made it to record and the debut album ‘Side Show’ is due to be released on 2nd August.

We play 4 shows to celebrate the release of said album, at Cambridge Folk Festival, Glasgow’s ABC and Edinburgh’s Queen Hall. Go to Shows to find out more.
