New Album & Tour: The Law Of Large Numbers - Out March 1st 2010

At long last I’m quite elated to be able to tell you of the completion of the second album. It is entitled ‘The Law Of Large Numbers’ for reasons that I’m not quite sure I even understand yet, but by the time anyone asks me I’ll be sure to have a convincing answer. Recorded at the Chemikal Underground studio Chem19 over the past year, and produced by Paul Savage, it’s a record that has been a lot of fun to make. Joining me in the studio were Jamie Savage, veteran of ‘Watch The Fireworks’, on keyboards and guitar, Graeme Smillie on bass and Jonny Scott on drums. Adem also makes a guest vocal appearance.

The tracks are:

Hug The Piano (And)
Hug The Harbour
I Could Be A Saint
Red Orange Green
Nine Lives
House On The Hill
Letters To Strangers
The Loop
Confessions
The Child In Me
Chemistry Will Find Me
Hug The Piano (Or)

The album will be released on Chemikal Underground and its various licensees around the world on 1st March 2010.
A couple of tracks from the new album can be previewed (preheard?) in the ‘Listen’ section at the top left of this page.

I will also be touring in March, co-headlining with Australian artist Josh Pyke at the following venues:

15 March Bristol Academy
16 March London Tabernacle
17 March Oxford Academy 2
18 March Norwich Arts Centre
19 March Glasgow King Tuts Wah Wah Hut
